Treza L. Edwards
Treza L. Edwards is the founder of the Law Office of Treza L. Edwards and was born in Decatur, Alabama in 1970. She moved to Los Angeles, California in 1986. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science in 1997 (Loyola Marymount University); Master of Arts Degree in Education with a Cross-cultural Language and Academic Development Clear Social Science Teaching Credential in 2003 (National University); and her Juris Doctor degree in 2004 (Whittier Law School).
Upon graduating from law school, she was a criminal defense attorney in the Office of the Public Defender in San Bernardino County California, where she successfully tried over 10 cases in one year; fighting for those without a voice! Due to her exceptional trial skills, she was recruited to the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office where she led the Narcotics/Drug Court Unit; the Auto Theft Unit; and ultimately was transferred to the Hard-Core Gang Unit, a unit that dealt with the most serious cases in the office.
After many years of criminal litigation, the decision was made to start her own firm that would serve individuals hurt due to someone else’s negligence; again, fighting for those without a voice! Fighting for those without a voice has defined Mrs. Edwards’ career as an attorney and that legacy continues at the Law Office of Treza L. Edwards. Mrs. Edwards limits her practice exclusively to personal injury, wrongful death, and premises liability cases.
She is a member of the Georgia Bar, Alabama Bar, California Bar, Texas Bar, and Georgia Trial Lawyers Association. Mrs. Edwards also routinely performs charitable acts throughout the communities in which she serves, addressing important issues, such as, food insecurity, early childhood literacy, civic responsibility, and financial literacy.
Mrs. Edwards is committed to the zealous representation of her clients to recover the maximum monetary compensation possible.
